Welcome back to our weekly wrap-up where we share what is going on both inside and outside of the shop.
We had some BIG things going on this week. Sam finished up two Shadow Boxes, we filmed and published his CNC Enclosure Tour, and MOST excitingly (to me, at least), I edited my very first video with Premiere Pro!
I learned a ton and shared those learnings (and the video itself) right here. I can’t wait to hear what you think. Drop a comment or shoot us a message @sammacydesigns or @ali_c123.
Want to catch up with the other things we have going on? Here ya go…
Helpful Video Links:
What we’re watching
Both: Season 4 of Alone on Hulu. This time, they were not quite alone and competed in teams. But, they’re droppin’ like flies much, much faster. V entertaining!
What we’re watching (YouTube)
Sam: Duck Commander – Duck season starts in October. Sam is pumped but never will you ever catch me out there. Wet, cold, and quiet? Not my 3 favorite things.
Ali: Standing Stone Kennels‘ GSP Training Videos. We’re t-minus 50ish days until we get to bring home our little pup. So, were doing our best to revisit puppy training as much as possible.
What we’re reading
Sam: Any timber framing info he can get his hands on. Right now, he is loving The Timber-Frame Home by Tedd Benson.
Ali: Where Dreams Descend by Janella Angeles
What we’re eating
We were pretty busy this week and when life is go-go-go, we like to keep it simple over here. Utilizing my crockpot is of my favorite ways to ensure we have plenty of protein around the house without standing in front of a stove or grill all night.
This week, I threw chicken breasts in our crockpot with some Bolthouse Farms honey mustard dressing for ~5 hours on low and we ate it over veggies, rice/cauli rice quite a bit this week. It is delicious and takes very little effort. Just set it and forget it while you get other stuff done.
As per usual, if you have any questions you want us to answer in our wrap-ups, throw them in the comments here, on YouTube, or you can send them right to @sammacydeisgns or @ali_c123 on Instagram.
Thanks for following along:)
