Here it is! Finally! Learn how to make a pallet wood decoration – step by step. In other words, you get to learn alongside me while Sam teaches us to build something.

I’ve promised this video at least I don’t know… 30 times… in our past Behind the Scenes post and video, on Instagram, and in basically every Weekly Wrap-up we’ve done so far. AND HERE IT IS!

We’ve been talking a lot about the best way to do the whole DIY thing and here is the truth: a lot of DIY vids are boring. A lot of talking to the camera and not a lot of personality.

Not only is a dry DIY less fun to watch but it also makes it tricky to actually follow along with each step. If you’re like me, you’re all about that written-instruction-print-it-out-but-still-need-a-general-idea-of-what-each-step-looks-like life.

So, we’re switching up the DIY style a bit to make it our own. Our videos will be vlog-style and still informative, but we’re not going to do a TON of stop, look at the camera, and tell you what to do.

Instead, if you watch the video and want to know how we did something, you can let us know by sending us your email and we will send the parts list, step-by-step directions, and other tips and tricks to think about along the way.

The added bonus for you is that your project will probably come out better than ours! When it comes to DIY projects, a lot of the time we’re winging it and figuring out what works and what doesn’t as we go.

Afterwards, we think of a few things we would do differently the next time and THAT is the info you’ll get vs. our “this is how we think this is going to work but we won’t know till we try it” directions!
